Security
Last updated: September 2026
We take the security of your account and data seriously. Here’s an overview of how Worldhire protects your information.
Account security
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard hashing.
- You can sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple, or email, depending on what’s enabled on your account.
- We recommend using a unique, strong password if you sign up with email, and enabling any additional account protections offered by your chosen sign-in provider.
Data protection
- All traffic to and from Worldhire is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Access to production data is restricted and controlled through row-level security policies at the database layer.
- Payment processing is handled by a PCI-compliant third-party provider — Worldhire never stores full payment card details.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability on Worldhire, please report it responsibly by contacting us rather than disclosing it publicly. We appreciate reports made in good faith and will work to address valid issues promptly.
Staying safe on Worldhire
Worldhire aggregates listings from many sources. While we work to keep listings accurate, always be cautious of any job that asks for payment, banking information, or sensitive personal documents before an offer is made — this is a common scam pattern across job boards, not specific to any one listing type. Use the “Report this job” option on any listing that looks suspicious.
