Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Worldhire collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and role (job seeker or employer).
- Job seeker activity: saved jobs, job alerts, applications submitted through Worldhire.
- Employer information: company name, website, and job listing details.
- Usage data: pages visited, search filters used, and general analytics collected via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use it
- To operate the Service (matching job alerts, showing saved jobs, processing applications)
- To communicate with you (transactional emails, job alert digests, account notices)
- To improve the Service (aggregated, non-identifying analytics)
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Sharing
We don’t sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who help us run Worldhire (e.g. hosting, email delivery, payment processing), and with employers when you apply to one of their listings through the Service.
4. Do Not Sell Or Share My Information
Worldhire does not sell personal information for money. Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to opt out of certain types of data sharing (for example, for interest-based advertising). To exercise these rights, or if you have questions about how your data is used, contact us.
5. Cookies and ad choices
Worldhire uses cookies for core functionality (staying logged in, remembering filters) and for analytics. Where advertising is present, third-party ad partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and job listing data for as long as needed for search indexing and record-keeping, after which it’s deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated date above.
