Requirements:
  • We require candidates to be willing and eligible to hold SC and eDV clearance.
  • We require candidates to be willing to attain an eDV clearance.
  • Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Experience building and deploying large-scale applications in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines.
  • Experience with container platforms and orchestration systems such as ECS, AKS, Kubernetes, Helm, or Docker.
  • Experience with automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI, or cloud equivalents.
  • Experience in scripting languages and source control.
Responsibilities:
  • We work as a Principal Platform Engineer, deploying applications and software to cloud or on-prem environments across our business areas.
  • We build and set up development tools and infrastructure.
  • We understand the needs of project stakeholders.
  • We automate and improve development and release processes.
  • We ensure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats.
  • We identify technical problems and develop software updates and solutions.
  • We work with other engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended.

We are Raytheon UK, partnering directly with hackajob to hire for this role in Gloucester, South Gloucestershire. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role with a hybrid working pattern, requiring a minimum of three days a week on site.
