Front End Developer - City of London

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with expertise in React, RxJS, Typescript, Websockets and Event Driven Development (EDA)
• Experience with real-time data
• Ability to interface with project stakeholders to gather requirements and build solutions that match business targets
• Prior financial services experience, such as banking or trading, is desirable
• Experience working in financial asset classes such as bonds, swaps or derivatives is desirable
• Working knowledge of complex data structures is desirable
• AI experience, such as Copilot or Codex, is desirable

• Build a modern trading application to replace an existing legacy system
• Work as part of a small, collaborative team

We are working with a global financial services organisation on a Front-End Developer role focused on React, RxJS, Typescript, Websockets and Event Driven Development (EDA). The role is based in London with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days per week in the office. It is initially a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, offered at £700-£800 per day inside IR35 via umbrella.
