Salary: £15,000 - 15,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Commercial experience delivering production data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions and query optimisation
  • Hands-on PySpark experience for large-scale data processing and transformation
  • Experience working with Lakehouse architectures and cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Parquet and modern data engineering practices
  • Python development experience
  • Git-based development and source control
  • CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
  • A proactive, ownership-based approach to delivery
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and support end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related Azure technologies
  • Build scalable batch and incremental data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
  • Develop and optimise PySpark notebooks for large-scale data transformation
  • Create robust Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions within OneLake
  • Design curated data models that support analytics and reporting
  • Write performant SQL for complex business and analytical requirements
  • Work with Delta Lake and Parquet-based datasets
  • Implement data quality, validation and governance controls
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and support deployment across environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and shape solutions
