Job description
About us
Since 2000, ITA Logistics Group has been making shipping simpler, more transparent, and more efficient for businesses. With our platforms LetMeShip and ParcelParcel, companies can quickly compare and directly book their daily shipping needs. By bringing together a wide range of carriers on our platforms, we combine modern technology with personal service.
Across several locations in Europe, our teams work every day to simplify shipping processes in a sustainable way. We believe in open collaboration and fast decision-making. That’s why we are looking for people who take ownership, contribute ideas, and want to actively shape the future with us.
Your mission
As our (Technical) Product Owner (m/f/d), you will be part of our Product Team and take ownership of key technical interfaces and integrations across our platforms. Your main focus will be on our Customer APIs, the Unified Carrier Interface (UCI), and, going forward, the Unified Financial Platform (UFP) as well as our HubSpot integration.
You will work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Business. You understand technical dependencies, translate different requirements into clear priorities, and work closely with our teams to ensure that our integrations are reliable and continuously evolving.
You will collaborate closely with our Product Owners, Technical Business Analyst, Software Engineers, and Data Insights team while also acting as an important point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers, carriers, and external partners.
Your Key Responsibilities
You own and continuously develop the roadmap for our Customer APIs across LMS Enterprise and LMS Next.
You drive the migration of our API customers from LMS Enterprise to LMS Next, identifying and prioritizing the features and carrier integrations required to make the transition successful.
You act as a technical point of contact for our API customers, supporting them with questions, troubleshooting, and technical challenges.
You take ownership of the development of our Unified Carrier Interface (UCI) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
You analyze requirements for carrier features and services, translate them into clear requirements for Engineering, and support QA in defining relevant test cases.
You communicate directly with our carriers to clarify technical requirements and integration specifics.
Once live, you take ownership of our Unified Financial Platform (UFP) and manage its backlog, requirements, and further development.
You continuously monitor our existing HubSpot integration and prioritize adjustments based on evolving business needs and feedback.
Across all these areas, you connect Engineering, business stakeholders, carriers, and external partners, ensuring clear requirements, priorities, and decisions.
What you need to succeed
You have a technical background, for example in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or several years of experience working at the intersection of Product and Engineering.
You have experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally working with APIs, platforms, or technical integrations.
You have a solid understanding of APIs, API design, versioning, and migration strategies and feel confident engaging in detailed technical discussions with engineers.
You are able to understand complex technical topics and translate them clearly for different audiences.
You are confident in stakeholder management and know how to balance and prioritize competing technical and business needs.
You are comfortable managing multiple workstreams and adapting to changing priorities while keeping a clear overview of what matters most.
You enjoy working collaboratively across teams and locations, including with colleagues in Hamburg and Naarden.
You are curious about AI tools and digital solutions and enjoy exploring new ways to improve productivity, processes, and workflows.
Experience in logistics, parcel, or freight tech, particularly with carrier API integrations, is a plus.
Familiarity with HubSpot or CRM integrations, as well as financial or invoicing systems and interfaces, is also a plus.
Across all these areas, you connect Engineering, business stakeholders, carriers, and external partners, ensuring clear requirements, priorities, and decisions.
Why ITA Logistics Group?
You can expect a work environment where new ideas are genuinely welcomed and feedback is not just accepted, but actively encouraged. We challenge the status quo, embrace agile ways of working, and continuously evolve. This also means making use of modern digital tools and AI-driven solutions that support your day-to-day work and help make processes more efficient.
