At Moss, we give finance professionals the power to automate their day-to-day and make forward-thinking decisions.
Our team and culture make us unique — we’re driven by impact and growth, where every one of us strives to learn and excel. Recognised by Sifted’s Rising 100 and LinkedIn's Top Startups, we’re here to help propel your career and together, make Moss a lasting success.
Join our Partnerships team as a Partnerships Manager (f/m/d). You will play a pivotal role in cultivating long-term relationships with partners and in expanding the channels through which we excite our potential customers for Moss. Through the cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and leveraging your expertise, you will be a key pillar in Moss’ journey to become the European market leader in spend management.
Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
Partner Identification & Assessment - Identify potential partnership opportunities that align with Moss' strategic goals and target markets. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the suitability and potential value of prospective partners.
Relationship Building - Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and potential partners. Establish rapport, engage in effective communication, and maintain regular contact to foster strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Negotiation & Agreement - Lead negotiations with partners to create and finalize agreements, ensuring that commercial terms are beneficial. Collaborate closely with legal and executive teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Revenue Generation - Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through partnerships. This may include joint marketing campaigns, co-selling initiatives, and referral programs. Continuously monitor and optimize partnership performance to maximize financial outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with various internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support to align partnership activities with Moss' overall business goals. Ensure seamless coordination and communication across departments to execute partnership initiatives effectively.
About you
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in this role:
Proven experience in B2B partnership roles or business development in a fast-growing SaaS or financial services company
Fluent in German (C2) & English (C1)
In addition, here are the skills and attributes we are looking for:
Trusted partner: you quickly establish strong credibility with partners, identifying synergies to build lasting relationships.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: you are always on the lookout for new partnerships, ready to generate high impact for Moss. You approach lead generation in an efficient and pragmatic way, understanding partners' processes and leveraging insights for joint revenue opportunities.
Ownership: you fully own your tasks, your constant learning progress and partner relationships, proactively overcoming obstacles and ensuring success aligned with broader business goals.
Collaborative Spirit: you proactively collaborate within your team, and with internal and external stakeholders to create a best-in-class partner and customer experience.
Resilient: you bounce back swiftly and independently of challenges, setbacks, or complex situations, displaying a willingness to learn and improve strategies for working with partners and within Moss.
