Develop, test, and improve prototypes and actively contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making
Required skills:
BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or a closely related discipline
Minimum 8 years of professional mechanical engineering experience
Advanced professional proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory
Demonstrable experience designing complex mechanical assemblies, bespoke machinery, or technically demanding systems
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including manufacturing methods, materials, tolerance analysis, GD&T, DfM/DfA, structural design, and mechanical interface
Strong ownership of mechanical designs and technical decisions
We value:
CSWP – Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional certification
Experience in industries such as scientific instrumentation, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, precision engineering, special-purpose machinery, optics, or similar fields
Experience with high-precision systems and/or exposure to vacuum, cryogenic, thermal, optical, or vibration-sensitive applications
Excellent engineering judgment and the ability to identify and improve weak or risky design solutions
